Upon arrival, if you are not satisfied with your booked rental vehicle then you have absolutely no obligation to hire the car.
No deposit required! Unlike other online vehicle hire dealers, when you book any of our rental vehicles online you are not required to pay a deposit!
one way hires
Our Rental Rates do not apply on one way hires from the Auckland depot. We limit the number of vehicles available for one way hires, therefore you will need to request a quotation for your one way rental hire.
driver's licence
All drivers should have held a full driver's licence for three years or longer. A current acceptable overseas, New Zealand or International licence is required from all intending drivers. At the Manager's discretion, a holder of a licence for less than three years is acceptable but may incur higher insurance excess.
rental duration
All hires are 24 hours duration. Late fees are charged at ½ of the daily rate up to four hours and a full day thereafter. Payment is made at the commencement of hire by cash, credit card or NZ traveller’s cheques.
insurance
Insurance excess applies to all hires. Collision Damage Waiver can be taken to reduce the excess to just $100. For full details please Contact Us.
tax
Goods and Services Tax (GST) is included in all daily hire prices.
breakdown service
All our rental vehicles are covered by AA Breakdown 24 hour service.
bond
A bond is required for all hires. You may be asked to sign a separate security bond in the form of a Credit Card imprint.
early returns
Returning a hired vehicle early may incur a penalty of one day's hire. The daily rate on any discounted or special hires may be recalculated at rack rates.
cancellations
Cancellations made within five days of commencement of hire may incur a penalty fee of one day's rental.
child, booster and baby seats
Child seats are now compulsory in New Zealand for every child under 5 years of age and may be hired from our branches. Please order at time of reservation stating age of child so the correct size may be booked.
